Teaching Philosophy

Prior to coming to teaching, I worked with manufacturing industry for a decade, focusing on materials, maintenance, operations and quality functions. This experience has been very useful in teaching courses in the area of operations and quality. My endeavor has always been to create a picture of industrial working on the minds of students and give them a feel of complexity involved in today’s manufacturing industry and the use of specialized techniques of planning and control for operation and growth of the industry.
