Biography

Dr. Sonia Arora is an Assistant Professor in the Marketing Management area at LM Thapar School of Management, Derabassi, India. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Marketing from the University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She holds a postgraduate degree with a specialization in Marketing and her graduation from Panjab University, Chandigarh. To further strengthen her academic and professional expertise, she has obtained certifications in Digital Marketing and AI in Marketing.

She has taught courses such as Services Marketing, Retail Management, and Digital Marketing to MBA and BEMBA classes. Her teaching interests also include International Marketing and Marketing Research, while her research interests lie in the areas of Marketing and Consumer Behaviour.

She supports students’ development through experiential learning, case study discussions, and innovative teaching methods. Her approach focuses on fostering critical thinking and encouraging the practical application of marketing concepts.
