(Corporate Leadership)

The Executive MBA Programme at LMTSM aims to accelerate the career paths of high potential professionals by developing in them an entrepreneurial mindset, analytical thinking, global orientation and consultative approach to solving the most challenging and complex problems faced by corporations and policy makers. The program is aimed at honing the abilities of the future corporate leaders to rightly frame the problems and then to provide strategic and tactical solutions. This would be achieved by a mix of specifically designed activities and courses that encourage students to learn act and reflect.

The programme would be imparted by globally renowned faculty from leading universities across the world who would employ diverse teaching methods such as case studies, focused workshops, lectures and discussions, simulations, business games, community and organizational projects, and collaborative learning to provide a holistic learning experience.

The programme specifically aims at:

  • Equipping the participating professionals with the required skills and knowledge in consultative and quantitative problem solving; and socially responsible decision-making.

  • Developing leadership capabilities to empower the participants to act as agents of change in their organization and society.

  • Nurturing professionals who are already aware about the complexities of the globalised nature of contemporary business.

  • Paying special attention to generating new ideas and synthesizing and integrating existing ideas for applying them to solve real world problems.

To achieve that the following rigorous and relevant programme has been designed:

Course Structure

The two year MBA Program curriculum is divided into the following three broad areas:

  1. Core Courses (42 Credits)

  2. Electives (15 Credits)

  3. Community & Organizational Consulting Projects (13 Credits)

Session and Credit Structure

  • Credits: Minimum 70; Credit-Hours: 1050; One credit: 15 contact hours.

  2. Electives (15 credits)

    A student has to opt for five electives (each comprising of 3 credits) in the second year. The list of electives are classified into following three baskets:

  3. Community and Organizational Consulting Project

    Projects to be submitted at the end of every six months (9 credits; 3.0 credits each) and Capstone Project at the end of the programme (4 credits).

Scheduling of Classes: Alternative weekends (Saturday (9:30 am to 5:30 pm) & Sunday (10:00 am to 5:30 pm).
